At just an 8 minute walk away, you can visit the Utah State Capitol Building. Take a beautiful walk through our neighborhood and through a park to get to the Capitol which is situated on top of a hill with picturesque views.
There is also a budget friendly cafe in one of the buildings if you get hungry.

Just up the street you'll find a beautiful park with many works of art. You will find people exercising and walking their dog and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the creek and ponds.

In recent years this area has been completely rebuilt. They even raised the creek above land and populated it with fish to introduce nature back into the heart of the city. But don't worry if it is too cold or too hot. The City Creek Center can totally enclose itself and control the temperature of the streets. City Creek Center comes complete with your favorite restaurants and stores, all within walking distance from our house!

This upscale and hip place is a great place to unwind, watch some live music and get a great cocktail. If you get a bite to eat, then be sure to try their fries ("Papas Fritas"). They come in two flavors: garlic parmesan and spicy ancho. Both are great!
