Very touristy and the waiters are grumpy, but the picanha on the "chapa" is totally worth it. Tips are payable by cash only.

Our favorite place! It's a French take on the Brazilian rodízios: instead of all you can eat meat, you choose your protein and they come around with all you can eat sides. Get there early (before 7:30) otherwise you'll wait in a long line. Get there too late and they tend to rush you out the door.

For nature and plant lovers. In the spring and summer it's a very nice place for wandering around and taking pictures. If you go to the childrens' park inside Jardim Botânico the little monkeys (miquinhos) are usually hanging out there, asking for food.
