A great coffee place near to my flat with view of the sea. Great starting point for a walk along the coastline all the way to downtown (approx 4km).

Cafe Regatta is a lovely and quirky cafe you will find in Helsinki - Google it :) Get money back for every cup of coffee you drink. An absolute must while in town. Cash only.

Sightseeing
The best place to get a birds eye view of Helsinki. Go the Atelier bar on top of the 11th floor and admire the view above the rooftops of Helsinki. On a good day you can see all the way to Tallinn.

Always worth a visit to admire the ruins of Suomenlinna. Accessible by public transport (ferry) from the market place downtown. Dress warm as it can be quite windy.
