Cafe Talo is just a few minutes away from my place. They serve food and they have delicious brunches on Saturday and Sunday. Good place for drinks.

Helsinginkatu has many cheap little pubs and bars. Wouldn't recommend for kids though haha

Just like Helsinginkatu, Vaasankatu has the cheapest bars to have a drink in town. It's fun if you like to party. They also have some good restaurants there.

Mustikkamaa is a pretty little island located right by the Zoo, just 10-15min walk away from my place. It's really good for jogging, walking or just enjoying the nature and the sea. The island also has pretty little beaches.
