The brunch and lunch here is DELICIOUS! It has recently been updated and it's really healthy and tasty food. The range of cakes and afternoon tea is also a firm favourite for a treat.

Bibury is a stunning village with a great trout farm if you fancy a spot of easy fishing! The pub is lovely, a little on the expensive side but very yummy.

There is a great walk between Upper and Lower Slaughter across some lovely countryside and both villages are very pretty. There is an old mill with a nice shop (it also sells great ice cream) and for a proper English cream tea you can't beat Lower Slaughter Manor

Oxford is...Oxford! A incredible place with breathtaking architecture, from the very old to the new and our personal favourite - the Natural History Museum with its glass roof. You definitely feel a bit more clever just from having visited! The Turf Tavern is a good secret-ish spot with lots of history. The University Colleges are stunning and steeped in more history than you can poke a stick at, plenty of decent restaurants to choose from and if you get nice weather, punting from the Cherwell Boathouse is an absolute delight.

If you are visiting in spring this wood is renowned for its carpet of bluebells! A small but very pretty wood that is well worth the walk if you are into a bit of fresh air and wildlife. Your best bet is to park at the Hand and Shears in Church Hanborough and walk in via the pub. The pub is GREAT so drop in and have a pint to complete the experience

Shopping

A huge and very popular outlet village. There is a train direct from Oxford Parkway. Be warned, that traffic builds heavily around Bicester Village so travelling by car can be frustrating.
