One of the best Malaysian restaurants in Sydney, and just overall amazing food, quite reasonably priced. Its very popular so can be a wait to get a table - but food gets served very fast.

Best Thai food in Australia. (except for Caysorn Thai). It's about a 10-15 minute walk - do try it. It's amazing. The lemongrass fish is to die for, as is just about everything else.

You want AMAZING breakfast? or lunch? Reubens is well worth the trek. Go early or late though as it gets filled up at the regular breakfast and lunch hour. My fav breakfast place in Sydney so far.

If you're in Manly, this is the place to eat. Nice views of the water and spectacular pizza, and you can take the ferry back to Circular Quay. Hugos is worth the trek to Manly, as is the ferry ride.

Amazingly awesome malaysian good. This is my go to spice fix place. Location is in a nice kid friendly courtyard.
Lots more veggie options than Mamak, the other great Malaysian place nearby.

Good museum, they generally have a number of kid friendly exhibitions going on. Plus its nice and BIG so kids love running around it, and they have an awesome cafe + coffee at Black Start Pastry.

This must be on your list already, but did you know you can walk here along the sea front in about 35-45 minutes from the house? Do this walk at least once! Stop at Barangaroo park along the way.
