Sit in the park overlooking the lake, with a coffee or a fabulous cooked breakfast - what could be better on a sunny day? Gets very busy with families at the weekends so if you're after peace and quiet then try a weekday instead.

A great little cafe - not exactly spacious but the coffee is good and the avocado on toast is delicious!

Simply the best coffee in London. Great spot for working with a laptop, and they also stock delicious chocolate, sourdough bread and other delicacies. The attached shop sells beautiful (and expensive!) retro furniture. (PS The address shown above is wrong - the Peanut Vendor is on Gunmakers Lane, a mere 2 minute walk from the flat!)

If you want something a bit unusual, like rainbow chard, shiitake mushrooms, or banana shallots, they're bound to have it here. They also stock a good range of essentials and organic produce, as well as fresh artisan bread.
