Menu is all sourced from locally grown produce (some of which comes from their own garden). All I can say is that the setting couldn't be any better with a lakeside view.

This place is quite new and not yet been. However neighbours that we know have been and highly reecommend going. Bonus point - it's within walking distance of the house.

This is actually one of our favourite restaurants in The Netherlands! The building is an old windmill (as the name suggests). Great food in a very cosy setting. This is a meat eaters paradise.

If you want to sample typical Dutch food then you have to visit a pancake house. Not just a sweet dish, there are many combinations to eat a pancake. The food here is reasonably priced.

Haarlem is the capital of the region Noord-Holland. It is very much like Amsterdam but with less tourists (and cyclists!). Very picturesque and well worth a visit.
