A strip of tons of shops/bars/restaurants within walking distance. The Mudsmith has great coffee/smoothies. There's a new popsicle shop (Steel City Pops). The Ship is an icehouse with a great jukebox.

There is a free trolly that will take you all up and down the strip of bars and restaurants that is McKinney Ave. or Uptown. Dress up, it's the place to be! In this area EFrogz is FREE transportation.

This area of Dallas offers more down to earth, artsy, some may say hipster vibe. I love the dog park. Tons of restaurants, awesome art to check out, a great place to bar hop, & live music all around.

Yes, the Joule is a hotel; attached is my favorite coffee spot, Weekend Coffee. A bit pricey, but worth it IMO. Enter via Commerce street and find free parking for coffee-goers. Parks close-by, too.

My very favorite margarita in the Dallas area. I know it isn't close to home, but when I'm craving I come all the way here. Awesome Cilantro Mashed Potatoes, queso, and Pork Fajitas, too! Tequila!

IMO,expensive mediocre tex-mex, but their mambo taxi's (sangria swirl margarita) are AMAZING. The HH during the week also can't be beat. When it's walking distance and the marg is that good, worth it

Dallas built a tunneled highway so we could have this park on top. Free pingpong, boardgames, golfing rentals, etc. A children's water park and a dog park that are all beautifully kept up.
