PELHAM ARMS is a 20 mins walk from my house along the picturesque High Street & passing Lewes Castle. I recently ate a delicious dinner there. Very charming. I would thoroughly recommend. Vegan menu available.

COTE BRASSERIE is a good choice for breakfast, lunch or supper and is housed in a renovated bank building on the main high street just beyond Lewes Castle.

I also highly recommend the bustling and well run CAFE at NEEDLEMAKERS - an old industrial building also housing some unusual shops, just off Fisher street and in the centre of town. (Daytime only).
