Really good wood-fired pizza, good beer selection, and fun atmosphere. This is not "traditional" new york pizza, but it is still really good.

Excellent Mexican sit down restaurant. Highly recommended. Note the address change -- it is now at 736 Franklin Ave at the corner of Sterling Place. It is no longer on Classon Ave

Classic 1930s style diner. This place has continuously been in business since the 1930s and the decor hasn't changed much since then! The lemon-ricotta and danish pancakes are highly recommmended.

One of our favorite activities is to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Take the 2/3 train to Borough Hall and walk from there. In 2012 there is some construction, which makes the view a bit worse...
