If you're keen on getting amongst the hustle and bustle of the city then Ponsonby is a great place to go - fabulous shopping with all the designer labels, well known food spots and a great place to have a few drinks and a dance later in the night.

An open mountain with panoramic views from the top. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the base of the mountain from our house. Definitely recommend.

A free park to relax and have a picnic, they also have free entrance to wander around the animal enclosures - great for kids. They have everything - horses, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens....

17 Rimu Road is the closet bus stop. In Auckland you will need to purchase a HOP card if you wish to use public transport for buses, trains or ferries. These can be purchased from the local convenience store near the Mangere Bridge Village Family Health Centre
