I thought the LA Phil had me spoiled on almost any other orchestra, but ISO in the Hilbert never fails to amaze and move me. Catch a concert - almost always tickets available day before or even day of.

The heart of the city is this monument with the woman facing south, welcoming the soldiers home from the Civil War. A fixed compass, you can use her to know which way is south. The circle can be confusing, I look up at her daily.

Great ice cream, wonderful chocolatier, and the best ever mocha espresso. Monument Circle at night is gorgeous. This is my favorite hang out.
