This pub has a fantastic outdoor area by the quay to sit and enjoy right by the tributary of The River Dart, where you can watch boats arrive on the quay. Inside are tables overlooking the quay, ask for a window table. Even arrive by boat yourself, but only accessible at high tide and with a 2 hour window.

A beautiful house and garden on the River Dart which used to belong to Agatha Christie and where she wrote many of her iconic detective stories - some including the very local area.

Take in the pretty seaside harbour of Salcombe with plenty of places to eat and drink. Overbecks is at the start of the Southwest Coastal path which goes to Bolt Head and beyond. If it is hot you can even take a swim at South Sands beach in Salcombe. A good day out for a mix of walking, beach, museum, and shopping in Salcombe.
