I understand the hype people! It was completely empty on a random Thursday afternoon. The place is incredibly small so it is more of a get your sandwich and go kind of place. There were like 3 tables inside.
The Caribbean Roast is apparently the most popular but I was not feeling a pork sandwich. Cashier serving me recommended the Smokin' Thighs. Sandwich came out quickly. More importantly this sandwich was amazing, sweet, and juicy. The caramelized onions plus the aioli balances out really well. It can get quite messy, but you will enjoy it so much you won't even care. Enjoy!

*Most of the time there's a line, but when we went around 1:30 we didn't have to wait! So if you don't mind eating lunch a bit late you can miss the mad rush

absolutely loved this place. Sharing plates with a diverse menu and honestly came out more affordable than expected. Among the things we got:
- The mussels - not what you're expecting (they're unshelled), but incredible. Well cooked, with a great sauce, over a fresh sourdough bread that soaks up the sauce. Magnifique. We actually re-ordered this it was so good.
- Smoked Salmon: A well done thick piece of smoked salmon with great accompaniments
- Black Cod - perfectly cooked melt in your mouth delicious fish in a fantastic mole sauce
- Grilled Beef - perfectly cooked, succulent, with a magnificent mushroom chimichurri.
- Rockfish Ceviche - refreshing, had sweet potato in a variety of

It's genuinely authentic Turkish food. I mean I felt like I was transported back to the streets of Istanbul with every single bite.

Ivar's Salmon House has one of the most beautiful views of Lake Union. The restaurant has large windows and I love sitting in the bar. They have an over 21 and an under 21 section, so you can still enjoy happy hour with minors in your party. Happy hour is 7days a week starting at 3p. Tyler our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We got the rock fish tacos, fish n chips, blacken salmon Caesar salad, portobello Caesar salad, and salmon chowder. They give complementary lemon corn bread muffins. Definitely recommend coming here, especially on beautiful sunny days.

This place has it all! Walking distance from Lake Union, check. Spacious and stylish atmosphere, check. Wide array of posh brunch selections, check. I had the baked eggs and my brunch date Lauren had the scramble. I've been here multiple times and it is great every time.

What's great about this place is the atmosphere - it probably is little changed in decades (except for the newer TVs) - and the locals who frequent it seem much like those who would have been there decades ago

One if the cooler parks in Seattle, imo, and always a hit with out of towners. Also, one of the best views of the ever growing Seattle skyline. Great for picnics, just to chill or catch the fireworks during the fourth... sike, unless you like being overly crowded, catch it somewhere else!

Great for picnics, just to chill or catch the fireworks during the fourth... sike, unless you like being overly crowded, catch it somewhere else!
My toddler LOVED it here. They have not only a bigger kid playground area but also one dedicated to the little ones. His favorite thing to do was play with the excavator in the dirty rain water. Make sure you put your little ones in rain boots!

Great park in the neighborhood plenty of space to kick the soccer ball with the kids sit in the shade. Kids have plenty of options on the playground. Meet some nice people and saw a beautiful garden since the part is in the Meridian school. Ladies were sun bathing, families having birthday parties and picnics.

You simply cannot visit Seattle without experiencing the Space Needle. Not only is it chalk-full of fascinating history, but the views from the observation deck are simply mesmerizing.

This is a must-visit for people visiting Seattle such as ourselves. We walked around bar-hopping and taking in all the sights/sounds/smells. Fresh fish! Also, you must check out the gum wall.
