for some reason Airbnb is not letting me upload this great little restaurants name: Maison T! This is a wonderful little French bistro: an affordable, delicious take on traditional French food by Japanese Canadian chef Masayuki Tamaru (aided by his Chilean-Can wife).

We don't have a dog, but this is all that came up for the Cedarvale Ravine walk, which is a wonderful walk up the street from us. (Well, it's a very very long walk; best to drive or Uber up there, then walk . . .) You go north up Christie, left on St Clair, an immediate right on Humewood, then through the neighbourhood and across Vaughn. Park the car and taaa-daaa, an urban oasis of fields and a beautiful walk through the ravine woods. My favourite place to get a hit of nature in the city.

Worth exploring both sides of the lake--the Beach, to the east (driving and cycling) and downtown (not so far east) or west. Beautiful part of the city. Also, the Scarborough Bluffs and beyond.

If you are out and about on a bike, a great little trail along the railway. Closer to our place (Walk North past Loblaws on West side of Christie) There is another great place to walk . . . to Geary Ave and a great Portuguese bakery.
