Iconic Berkeley landmark, not to be missed! Arguably the best pizza in California, also an amazing cheese selection, excellent breads, olives, etc.. Live music in the pizza/cafe area. There is one pizza selection per day, available half-baked (whole or half) -- locals will pickup a half baked pizza and eat at home to avoid the line.

A pleasant walk down the Ohlone trail, and then enjoy great beer and food at this local favorite. (Thursdays there is an excellent pop-up BBQ restaurant - go early before the brisket sells out!)

Gorgeous park with 360 degree views of the entire bay area. Walk or jog the 1.5 mile circuit path, or crisscross the interior for stunning views. Afternoon breezes bring kite fliers from all over the Bay Area, and you can't beat the sunsets (when there's no fog). Look for the burrowing owls on the north west side.
