The walk down the Oceanside Pier is great for people watching, fishing, watching surfers ... and you can even eat at Ruby's Diner if you get hungry, but the walk alone is worth the trip :)

This beach is beautiful nearly anytime, but at low tide, it is likely you can find sand dollars or view other sea life such as star fish or sea anenome near the northern most jetty.

The small reserve is close by and numerous varieties of birds can be seen. It is a lovely short walk around the lagoon - and it's free :)
