Very close to the appartment, De Walvis is my favorite bar/restaurant in the neighbourhood. De Walvis shows how it's done to create a new place that this has an intimate ambiance.

They call themselves a rock'n'roll bar and dance bistro. But on sunny days they also have the biggest terrace in the Westerpark. And.. it's also a place where you can go for proper partying till late.
