Stock up on food. From the hot bar to the freezer to great produce to the pickles they have it all.. and their 365 Brand of goods is a quite reasonable value for the health conscious.

Well unfortunately Philly isn't the city that never sleeps and as only people from PA and NJ know it Wawa is like a fancy 7-Eleven with sandwiches, but more importantly it's open all night.

Looking for a BYOB? A noteworthy trend in Philly dining... get a good bottle of chianti cheaper at the state store (yea it's PA) and end up paying way less for a great italian meal with no wine bill.

Great coffee shop and a unique breakfast? This coffee shop is a neighborhood favorite as is the eggel... it's a bagel pre-made with sliced hard boiled egg, gruyere, and zatar spice on a panini press.

This is a beautiful park for little kids! Also this is a great walking route to get over to the historical park area. Go down 3rd St., left on Pine and quick right onto the pedestrian only way here.
