Used to be a hole in the wall, but they moved across the street into new digs (now 527). ask for broccoli added to your pho and whatever you do, don't get the XL (unless feeding a family of 3).

A walk from our place through the park, then amazing baked goods... this is a regular stop for us. Get the strata and be sure to save room for one of their cookies!

This is literally our side yard. The Streissguths have built a wonderful hillside garden that has expanded over decades to 1+ acres. If you're lucky you might even get a chance to chat with them!

Cute little pocket park with an amazing view NE, looking over Lake Washington and to the Cascade Mountains beyond. Well worth the trip through Volunteer Park to the south or down Howe Street
