They have almost everything you may have forgotten at a larger grocery store, plus a huge selection of British food. Being British expats ourselves, we feel very smug to live so close.

Again this is walk-able if you don’t plan on buy a lot. It’s a nice walk through the southeast corner of Golden Gate Park.

It’s a small, but great store, with lots of yummy pre-made food that’s made on the premise. Generally worth a trip, and their ice cream is amazing.

Japanese ‘bar’ food and small plates. Really worth the extra walk down to 16th for this place. If you don’t want to wait, it’s definitely worth making a reservation here.
