Enter through Hot Diggity Dogs at 4028 5th Ave. S., and enter the Tardis (The giant blue phone booth; it's a thing from the TV show Dr. Who) inside. Guests pick up the phone inside, and a host will either seat you or take down your information for the wait list. The Marble Ring can seat up to 84 people at a time, including its patio, but they don't do standing room.
Upon entering the Marble Ring, the first thing you see is glamour: a massive crystal chandelier hangs above the marble bar; the custom-made leather chairs reek of the 1920s; the waitresses wear flapper dresses and the waiters wear suspenders and bowties.

“The idea [for the bar] came from the memory of hanging out in your parents’ basement,” says Patrick Nelson, who co-owns the bar alongside locals Rae Baker, Wes Frazer and Dan Drinkard. “It was just something everyone could identify with and relate to.”
Because the bar was inspired by a simpler time, the foursome decided to go for a casual vibe with the bar’s decor and menu. Only serving beer and wine from the can, Mom’s makes us all long for the days of cutting up in the basement with friends — letting the hours effortlessly slip by.
