An amazing science museum.... if you are into engineering and photography this is a must. And if you are travelling with children they will love the new treehouse and jumping pillow.

The ancestral home of President Barack Obama. Worth the detour to have a pint of Guinness in Ollie's Bar, and take a photo. :)

We had family visiting recently and made the one hour road trip to visit King John's Castle. A totally AMAZING experience. Well worth doing

Wonderful restored walled garden... interesting features at all times of the year. In Spring the snowdrops are absolutely amazing. Lots of quirky garden installations.

Excellent walks and cycle paths (you can hire bikes there). This area used to be a working peatland bog which has now been turned into a nature reserve. Beautiful light in the winter for photographs.

We finally got to visit there last weekend and really enjoyed it. Booking required.
