One of my favorite places in Wenatchee as you can enjoy eveything in one visit: great food, great view/walk and a great atmosphere. Enjoy delicious Coffee at Cafe Columbia or Crepes at ICE. There is also a seasonal Saturday morning market.

Another entry point to Saddle Rock Trailhead is from Jacobson Trailhead, which in my opinion is more child friendly and in the shade.

To be honest I haven't been to the tasting room, but I have tasted Union Hill Cider Co. cider on many occasions and it's one of the best I had in a long time. The staff/owners are also very friendly.
