The regeneration of the harbour now forms part of the creative quarter and is well worth visiting, along with various art installations which have been undertaken over many years and can still be seen when walking round Folkestone. along the sea front in Folkestone leads to the Harbour Arm and to the west the Lower Leas adventure park for young children.

The Famous Leas Promenade with its large swathes of lawn, run on the south side of the town, and wonderful views can be enjoyed across the English Chanel to France and the beautiful gardens and Grade II listed Metropole and Grand.

The local village, has various coffee shops and pubs to explore, The Boat House does great snack food, Loaf serves up more substantial brunch style meals whilst Orchard Lane Coffee House serves up the best coffee and cinnamon buns!
