Excellent pastries, pies, and cakes. They serve coffee daily, sandwiches on weekdays, and donuts on the weekend. Their Levain bread is the best bread I've ever tasted.

Great Thai food at great prices. They have tasty cocktails and a nice atmosphere with good service. You can call in for take out or eat in, with limited wait times even on busy nights.

The newest, coolest cafe in town, Sightglass is in a newly renovated, industrial design space. Coffee is roasted on site and tasty pastries, unique coffee choices, including drip and espresso.

Vega sells Blue Bottle coffee, a favorite bay area coffee roaster. My personal favorite coffee, never over-roasted with a special attention to the character of the beans. A must-try for coffee lovers.
