Ski rental
Check ski rental shops along I-70 and in-town and book the rental before arrival, pick up the gear on the way, make sure to note the shop hours if your flight arrives late in the night. It should be cheaper than rental at the resort.

Prepare for high elevation
At over 8500 feet elevation, people traveling from lower elevation to Fraser should be prepared for altitude sickness. In addition, it is typically much dryer in high elevations, make sure you drink plenty of water, limit your alcohol intake, regularly apply moisturizer, and get plenty of rest. Bring high SPF sun lotion and reapply during the day while outdoors, and wear hat and sunglasses. If you develop any severe symptoms of altitude sickness, seek medical attention or go to lower elevation.
