Where to buy food close to the apartment?
In the grocery shop you can get everything you need for breakfast, a nice lunch, or a delicious dinner. Easy to walk and it will not take you more than 5 min to the shop.
Tipp: Just use the stairways at the pool to go up until you reach the street above the complex. Then walk towards Perledo (down the road until you come to the main road of the village). This will be the shortest way!
The nearest shopping facility is in the vicinity of the apartment. Distance approx. 600m. You can take the stairs up at the pool until you will come to the road above the buildings. This will be the shortest/fastest way to the shop if you want to walk.

Just 60 min away from Varenna. I strongly recommend to use the train from Varenna to Milan main station (direct train). It is always worth to vist Milan and to shop fashion in the fashion capitol of the world.

Como is a very nice town you can reach within 60 min. when using the speed boat from Varenna to Como. Great restaurants, shopping possibilities and a beautiful old city.

Night Bus Varenna to the Apartment
Use the free of charge Night bus to come back to the apartment in the evening.
Tipp: Walk down to Varenna for dinner and use the Night Bus (starts at the train station in Varenna) back to "Cava Bassa".
The Night Bus has 3 schedules:
1. Departs at the train station at 21:00h
2. Departs at the train station at 21:50h
3. Departs at the train station at 22:40h
The night bus is available until end of September!
