Fitzroy is full of wonderful local friendly pubs but THIS one is the BEST one. It's kinda criminal to stay at Little George and not visit the Union AT LEAST once.

Brunswick Street is an iconic area in Melbourne. Running the length of Fitzroy from Victoria Parade to North Melbourne, there are literally hundreds of places to see covering cafes, restaurants, hidden bars, cocktail bars, lane ways, street art, boutiques, homewares, high street shops, boutiques, pubs, music stores and shops that don't fit into any category. It would take you a few days to do this street properly!

Spend a whole day on foot going into each shop in between breakfast (Archies), some art galleries (Australian Print, Seven, Diane Tanzer), lunch (Sonido), a trip to Melbourne Museum (corner Gertrude and Nicholson), dinner (Ladro), live music (The Workers Club) and Cocktails (The Everleigh). Yes, this is all on our wonderful Gertrude Street.
