If you like climbing mountains then this one is fabulous! Home of 'King of the Mountain' and only 30 minutes drive away. It is a hard climb (allow an hour up and an hour down, take water and your camera).

Easier to climb than Mount Cooroora - perfect for families. Fantastic views over the ocean and you can watch planes and helicopters moving around Sunshine Coast airport. Take water and wear good walking shoes.

We love Australia Zoo! Catch the Greyhound bus from Noosa Junction bus station (must book via Australia Zoo website) or drive yourself - approx. 1 hour. It is a full day and well worth the trip.
