Tavistock is a warm friendly place to visit with historic buildings, a pannier farmers market and a few locally owned shops. The walks are beautiful and there is plenty of parking. Also boasting its own theatre/cinema and live music venue, The What has something for everyone.

Sightseeing
This quaint little town has its own railway station, with trains that go into Plymouth regularly. The trip is definitely worthwhile as you get to see beautiful parts of the Tamar River all the way down.
