A lovely setting for a forest and lakeside walk. There is a large walled garden too, which has the 'Autograph Tree' showing initials carved by famous Irish literary and historical figures. Great place for a picnic. Approximatley 30 minutes drive.

This is a great forest walk, with broad views over Lough Corrib and Galway at the top. Easy to moderate walk, as some parts are steep but no special equipment needed. Approximatley 25 minutes drive.

Spectacular views from the top of this mountain. There are three different walking routes available, ranging from an easy stroll to a full-on hill climb. The toughest route does not require any specialist climbing equipment, but is steep in places. Approximately 1.5 hours drive.
