Food scene
A 3 to 4 minute walk from the cottage. Open for breakfast and lunch, and sometimes dinner on the weekends. Everything at Café mutton is amazing, but we highly recommend anything on the daily specials menu along with some meaty staples on the breakfast/lunch menu like the fried bologna sandwich or housemade scrapple and eggs. Also don’t skip the little bags of caramel covered saltine crackers!

A great neighborhood coffee shop by day turned wine bar in the afternoon, located about 4 to 5 minutes by foot from the cottage.

The best bodega style bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich in town! Located right across from the train station, there is also a little gourmet market where you can pick up some supplies as you arrive in town.

This is our shop! A 10 minute walk from the cottage, we sell housewares, kitchen goods and gourmet pantry items. But most importantly, if you have any questions or need to pop in and speak to one of us in person, it’s a family operation and my husband and I are almost always in the shop.
