There is not a more beautiful, grand interior of a steak restaurant in Scotland. I am sure of that. Great causal service and great wine.

Leith spans from my listing all the way down the to sea! Leith walk is iconic, barmy and full of life. Some great bars and cafes too.

If you fancy braving the North Sea many wild swimmers including myself swim here. Also great for traditional Scottish seaside activities like shivering, eating fish and chips having a beer and a fire.

Stirling Castle and the town is one of my favourite day trips! PLus very cheap (£7) and only 30/ 40 mins on the train!
