There are numerous events at the park throughout the year, and the rest of the time anyone can enjoy the relaxing seating areas, sculptures, a large playground for the kids, and the Japanese Friendship Gardens, which are at the far end of the park.

George and the Dragon is an English style sports pub at the Central and Indian School light rail stop in mid-town Phoenix. If there is a major football (soccer) match happening they will be showing it there with lots of enthusiastic fans, and excellent servers.
