Neighbourhoods
We live in a very friendly village with good amenities. There is a village shop and post office within walking distance of our house and there is also a fish and chip shop 'The Little Chippy'. There are some lovely walks around field margins within easy reach from our house. St Andrew's Church is a round tower church with Saxon origins.

Sightseeing
Just a 15 minute drive away this spectacular show is held annually from early November through to the end of December and it is the largest Christmas show in the country. Throughout the summer season the Steam Engine Museum at Thursford is open, hosting the worlds largest collection of steam engines and organs.

The market town of Holt is just 25 minutes by car and it is a charming, picturesque Georgian town. There are plenty of shops and eateries to chose from, as well as art galleries, book shops and antiques.

The coastal village of Blakeney is 30 minutes by car and lies within the Norfolk Coast AONB. Fantastic for walking and bird watching. Great places to eat and drink as well.

This reserve is a natural home for many species of birds and mammals, plants and invertebrates and is about 10 minutes from ours by car. Beautiful walks and scenery, a cafe, shop and children's play area.

The Medieval city of Norwich has has some beautiful historic walks and streets to explore. There is a fabulous cathedral and castle and river walks. It is just 45 minutes by car to this city.

Holkham beach is stunning, with all its glorious stretches of sand. Holkham Hall is worth a visit too and its grounds, with a lake and lots of deer to spot, make for a lovely walk.
