From there take a short (but somewhat steep) walk or an elevator to the tippity top! You'll also find restrooms, overpriced food and a gift shop nestled at the top of this incredible mountain view.

If you are itching to get out on that pristine looking lake, never fear, there are rental options available. A huge variety Kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals are available at the Schroon Lake Marina! Multi-day rentals are also available.

Stewart's is "just a gas station", but it's also a local favorite for some of the best ice cream you'll find anywhere in the world (we may be slightly biased). It's also just a nice and clean stop for gas and if you step in side, it is typically well stocked with useful shopping items.

Keene Valley is nestled in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks. It's just about impossible to do any major hikes in the area without going through Keene! It's a gorgeous drive from Schroon Lake and has some great stops for a bite to eat or a coffee!

Schroon Lake is a small town and as such, our local businesses often have modified hours of operation. In the summer, you'll likely not have any issues, however, in the off-season you may find certain local business take a day off or two during the week. Google Maps or their Facebook pages are usually up to date with their info.
