I don't think you can leave Perth without having been to Little Creatures. An iconic brewery in the port of Fremantle, they've got a good food menu too and a great sandpit for the kids.

Another beautiful local beach, this time about 10 minutes south of Fremantle. South Beach Cafe is great for easygoing meals and there's a playground here too.
There are also the South Beach Sunset Markets on Saturday nights during summer which are fantastic.
