This little pub serves hamburgers, sandwiches and salads. Your typical bar food. Kind of a hidden gem, in the corner of the strip mall by Kimberling Inn. They do have an outside eating area, in the back of the pub. Depending on the time of year, they have guitar player/singer performing on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This is one of regular places to eat.

I would consider this one of the "do not miss" places. Everything I've tried has been wonderful. You order at the counter, then they bring it to your table. I've always had a good experience here. (I have to say, just a little pricey).

This is a little bit of a drive, great motorcycle ride, about 35 minutes away. But, this place is becoming legendary in this area. They have a very large menu and very large portions. They are known for their catfish and chicken. When you order, if you order chicken or catfish, the server will ask if you want to upgrade to "all you can eat." That's just insanity. My husband will usually order a meal, then I'll order one or two additional pieces of chicken or catfish, and we'll split his meal. You can get to it by land or lake.

This is one of the only two restaurants I recommend actually in Branson, MO. So, be prepared for the traffic. In my opinion, the best steak house around. Last time we went, they were not accepting reservations. But, the wait wasn't very long. I am one who absolutely hates to wait at restaurants. I consider this worth the wait.

This is the one of the only two places in Branson, that I think is worth the drive and traffic. The restaurant is east of 65, very close to the landing. You can drive through Branson to see what's there, or you can take 13 to 86 and enjoy the scenery. If you're not a fan of sushi, try something from their Japanese grill.

MUST SEE!! This post is not really about the resort, I'm sure its great. But, I'm recommending one of the roads leading to the resort. It has an absolutely amazing view of the lake. This is my first suggestion to anyone who has never been to this area. (Again take 13 to 86, no need to go through Branson for this attraction). You'll actually get directions to "Top of the Rock." When you get to the entrance, there will be two entrances. You want the one on the left that says "Big Cedar," no admittance fee. Now, be careful, this is a very windy road. You'll know the view when you get there. We like to arrive just around sunset. There is usually a small group of people already there, some enjoying an evening picnic. Rumor has it that Johnny Morris may soon be changing this area. So, enjoy it while you have the opportunity. I will warn you, I will generally get lost in Big Cedar while leaving, but I do always, eventually, find my way out.

This is another example of how centrally located our little place is! This is about an hour drive, but oh, what a unique little town. This town originally sprung up due to it's hot springs. I'm surprised how many guests will visit or cabin, but never go down to the lake. - While in the neighborhood, I'd suggest walking down to the lake at sunset, go west, past the condos. -Or, pick up a floatie and spend the day lazing at the lake. -Or, if you really want a great lakeview, drive the half to overlook the lake at the Big Cedar/Top of the Rock entrance. I do think this is a "must do" for first time visitors. Take 86 almost to 65, much more scenic, take the Big Cedar entrance at the round-a-bout. Then drive up the very curvy road. You'll know when you get to the lakeview. This is another great sunset view.
