Great hidden bar underneath a restaurant. Very trendy and world renown mixologist!
I really like this bar because it's very chill. They have movies playing on the wall sometimes. They can be pretty trippy.

This is where I take all my visitors. Pricey tapa-ish food but VERY hip and trendy. Dimly lit, good for dates, and very cheap wine -- becareful on drinking too much of it though.

Sightseeing
Take a nice stroll night or day on the WIlliamsburg Bridge to see Manhattan from a different point of view over the water! Great for pictures and some exercise. Locals frequent it by foot or bike!

If you're looking for the famed NYU this is it! The campus is pretty open so roam around if you like! They have a nice park, Washington Square Park were you can sit and people watch.

This area is pretty well known for its street murals. If you like street art I recommend you take a look! Go during the daytime so you get to see it better. The area also has a lot of cool cafes

The BEST udon restaurant. I found this completely on accident when they just opened. There is no advertisement anywhere. It's just a door - that they have to keep slightly open because there is no door handle on the outside. Noodles are shipped from Japan.

Delicious Hot Pot. Hot Pot is a Chinese cuisine.. think the story stone soup. A ton of plates of food in front of you that you put in a pot of boiling water in front of you and eat. The broth it creates is delicious to drink and you get to try a variety of sauces. Easily spend a few hours here.

If you're sportsy the East River is a really awesome place to take a run especially in nice weather! They have a track and a path along the river. It goes down to Chinatown and up to Upper East Side.
