Random Harvest is a terrific little upscale store filled with local produce and meats and prepared foods. Very nice selection of items, grains, coffee, pastries, sandwiches, soups - all delicious. 12 mins from the house.

From May - Nov the Copake Farmers Market is worth a visit on Saturdays for great local organic produce, cheeses, apple cider donuts and dumplings. There’s often some folk music and plenty of space for the kiddies to roam. Also a nice long trail there. 6 min.
