Moderate to hard trail but amazing view. This is the mountain right behind our Log Home Lower Level and can be seen from our property, especially the back yard.

Moderate to hard trail but amazing view. This is the mountain right behind our Log Home Lower Level and can be seen from our property, especially the back yard.
This hike is just up Smith road and with in walking distance of our Log Home Lowe Level. Moderate to tough hike depending on how high up you want to go.
Matanuska Peak

Beautiful hike- not too bad for going to the tree line and back down. 9 hours to the top and back. Amazing views.

Popular fishing spot for silver and red salmon. Runs are usually between July through the beginning of September. Cleaning of fish is not allowed inside or outside the Log Home Lower Level.
