Great food, inexpensive with good coffee and beer and wine. They have a good happy hour. The food is good, crepes, burgers and breakfast. Great to hang out and do some work or just grab a meal.

Really incredible, fine dining, California cuisine. The food is great and they're open late and have wonderful cocktails. But be prepared to wait and it's not cheap, but the place is gorgeous and the food, drinks and service are exceptional. Also they have incredible brunch on the weekend.

But be prepared to wait and it's not cheap, but the place is gorgeous and the food, drinks and service are exceptional. Also they have incredible brunch on the weekend.
Southern food, it's a great spot with great sides and reasonably priced.

A beach in the heart of the wharf where there are tons of restaurants, sight seeing, ferries to ride and always lots of street performers and things to do. Its definitely a toursity area, but a quintessential place to visit on your first trip to San Francisco.

Alcatraz was an old prison, the site of the movie The Rock with tons of history, it's an incredible place to see. You have to take the ferry, make sure to book ahead of time, but absolutely worth doing and make sure to get the audio tour.
