Great wetlands set in the middle of urban park. Winter is a great time to see interesting birds like roseate spoonbills, ducks, egrets and the occasional nesting sandhill cranes. The park has a great trail you can walk, jog or bike as well.

Established as a bird sanctuary - it has a wonderful very long trail to follow. Birds are hit or miss depending upon the water levels. Great for walking or jogging in nature and bike rides. Also, segway tours are available here.

The Clematis Street area of downtown is great! A lot of neat restaurants and bars to choose from. Limited shopping but also close to the Intracoastal waterway - waterfront area.
