I don't recommend to dine here but it's an absolutely must see place. The interior of the building is a tourist attraction itself. The quality of the food and the service isn't in proportion with the prices but it's worth having a coffee for the visual experience.

The Nyugati railway station is the starting point of trams going to west and north from Budapest. You can use the tram to easily reach Zugló and Kőbánya Kispest metro station within Budapest.

The Deák Ferenc Square is the most important public traffic junction in Budapest. It's only 15 minutes walk away from our apartment. The metro line 2, 3 and 1 meets here. The bus nr. 16 brings you up to the Buda Castle. The bus nr. 100E brings you directly to the airport for 1500 HUF.

If you plan to reach the airport with the cheap public transport way it's good to know about the KöKI shopping mall. It's at the Kőbánya Kispest metro station where the metro line 3 terminates and you have to change to the airport bus 200E. It's an average shopping hall with air conditioning, food court and clean toilets.
