In between Campden and Broadway it's a great place for fabulous views and walks, there is a lovely cafe and a herd of deer to spot when you visit too

The Venice of the Cotswolds! It can get busy and a bit touristy but it's a beautiful little town with a lovely canal running through it. There is also Birdland and the model village to visit for a full day out

Another charming Cotswold town, this one is famous for antiques and there are lots of little treasure troves to visit as well as a delightful town square, lots of pubs and restaurants and a beautiful church. Well worth a stroll through

It's our nearest bigger town for shopping and chain restaurants as well as some charming independents

The Avon runs through it and means you can also do river cruises and enjoy some activities on the water. It's our nearest bigger town for shopping and chain restaurants as well as some charming independents
Zoo and lovely gardens/manor house - the local village of Burford is also a great place for a shop, lunch or coffee on the way

A really special place to visit for a walk, with modern art all over the grounds and art galleries inside the big house itself. Capability Brown designed the landscape and it's just beautiful for a walk and some art plus an excellent restaurant and kids play areas dotted around

The closest pub to Castle Hideaway and a charming building, camra winners so expect excellent local real ale. There is also good quality home cooked food and a cosy setting to enjoy (plus it's only about a ten minute walk home)

The best cafe around, in a pretty village with lovely walks. They do fabulous brunches, high end lunches and the best doughnuts and cruffins. You can also get takeaways for your walk if you can't get a table
