Helston - Great find five stars from 518 reviews. We went to Fat Apples for lunch, sandwiches realy impressive. They are not Just sandwiches they are a meal as the accompanying salads are amazing.

Porthleven - Sweet harbourside restaurant, is half Maori, half Chinese Malay – and so the dishes are characterised by Asian and New Zealand influences that are a little unusual for the Cornish coast. There’s wasabi tartare and curry spiced monkfish, shimeji mushrooms with Cornish venison and dashi broth with Atlantic shellfish – all in a 300-year-old pub as Cornish as they come.

A real gem of a Cornish fishing village. Park at the top and walk down to the village along a great little track. Make sure you visit the Tin Church on the way. Fishing boats supply fresh crab and lobster every day. There is a village pub and a good cafe/restaurant. A perfect place for peace and quiet, especially in spring and autumn near the most southerly point in mainland Britain.. Spring comes early, summer lingers long.
