Another fun cave to visit. This is a guided tour, about 2 miles. Nothing tight, no crawling and historical. During the Civil War saltpeter was mined to make gun powder.

Incredible rock formations, with layers of fern crevassed rocks creating a naturally lush garden, peaceful and calming. The trail is not long and easy on the feet. Great when hot out, very cool here!

Just over 2 miles away is one of the picturesque covered bridges of WV. Parking available so you can walk around it and the stream running under it - but take care, this one lane bridge is in use!
