Holiday makers have recently raved about the quality and quantity of the fish and chips. In the past there has been seating inside but at present this doesn't seem to be available.

I have had several evening meals here. Home cooked pies, chips etc. Comfortable surroundings. I have had a very nice Sunday lunch here too.
Staff very much want to ensure that everything is right for customers.

Friendly staff. A community restaurant located in the former cottage hospital.
I like the filled oatcakes at lunchtime; tasty and well presented.
Sunday lunches ; very generous portions.
They offer a wide selection of breakfast items; I haven't tried this yet

Sightseeing
A very steep walk to the stardisc either via the Greenhill or The Dale. Lovely views when you get there. Events are held throughout the year.
